Collaborating closely with teens and their parents all over the country, I assist in defining objectives and achieving desired outcomes, fostering individual responsibility in the college search and life decisions. This transformative process not only aids in selecting the right college but also cultivates confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of accountability while bolstering communication and deeper understanding between parents and teens. 

My wealth of expertise originates from years of experience as an educator, instructional coach, Edtech marketing manager, and college counselor. I hold a Bachelor of Science from Ohio University, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Literacy from the University of Cincinnati and a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA. Having nurtured three independent children of my own, I deeply believe in the transformative power of education. 

As an independent educational consultant, I recognize the value of providing support to teenagers navigating the challenging path of college selection. Understanding the high levels of stress that both teens and parents experience during this pivotal time, as it represents the first significant adult decision for high school students.  I find joy in alleviating this stress for you and your teen by providing expert guidance and support.

I work with teens all over the country and have worked with several community-based organizations including National Achievers Society, Alpha Phi Alpha GZL Educational Foundation, and have partnered with a Hillsborough County local high school.
